  • What does the alphabet soup of compliance really mean? IQ, OQ, PQ, PV, and many more. What do they mean and which one is right for you?

Installation Qualification (IQ) – to be performed after an instrument is moved or at the time of installation. Its purpose is to document the model and serial number of the modules and verify that the power, and environment meets the OEM specifications.

Operational Qualification (OQ) – a suite of tests demonstrating that the instrument will function according to the OEM’s operating specifications.

Performance Verification (PV) – incorporates the holistic testing approach by introducing a specific method, column and standard to demonstrate that the instrument will function and produce accurate and consistent results with respect to the standards provided. This is done in addition to the OQ (OQ/PV).

    Qualifications Offered:

    GC – Complete OQ/PV protocol

    LC – Complete OQ/PV protocol

LC – “Essential” OQ protocol.  This is a cost-effective protocol that meets the requirements of most lab SOP’s.
